The town of Tramonti is known as the “green lung of the Amalfi coast”, and owes its name to its particular shape and position at the foot of the Lattari mountains: an “intra montes” land.
Known mainly for its numerous and renowned wine labels, the place preserves the ancient tradition of handmade baskets, still practiced in the highest fractions.
The naturalistic beauties of the Valico di Chiunsi and the precious vegetation have made Tramonti the main seat of the Mountain Community of the Amalfi Coast.
To visit are its historical treasures such as the Convent of San Francesco, the Church of San Pietro and the Rupestre Chapel.
