Marina di Praia is a characteristic beach set between two rock ridges, located in the lower part of Praiano and the only landing place of the Ancient Plagiunum. Due to its particular nature, the beach is lit only for a few hours of the day.
On the right side of the beach there is a romantic path leading to the Torre a Mare, a Saracen tower from the Middle Ages. La Praia is full of bathing establishments, restaurants and clubs where you can enjoy the magical panorama and taste the typical products of the area.
During the day, the beach is the starting point for many boat trips, but at nightfall happens the real magic: old local fishermen gather here to “go out to totani” (local squids), bringing us back with their little boats to discover a past never forgot.
